Are you an overseas teacher planning to work in Hong Kong? A new visa fee structure has been introduced, affecting employment visa applications under the General Employment Policy (GEP). Understanding the New Visa Fees
As of February 26, 2025, the Hong Kong Immigration Department has revised its visa application fees. Here’s what you need to know:
- A non-refundable application fee of HK$600 (US$77) is required when submitting your visa application.
- If your visa is approved, an issuance fee applies:
- HK$1,300 (US$167) for visas valid for more than 180 days
- HK$600 (US$77) for visas valid for 180 days or less
