Objectives

Eureka’s Chatterbox series is designed to enhance the listening and speaking abilities of English learners from 4 years of age and up. The series is compatible with the Trinity GESE examinations.

Features

Eureka’s Chatterbox Level 1 is comparable to Grade 1 of the GESE exam. Students will be able to:

  • understand simple instructions through appropriate actions,
  • give short answers to simple questions and request for information,
  • respond to questions promptly and effectively, and
  • understand and use vocabulary related to: the classroom, the face and body, animals, numbers, everyday clothing, etc.

Chatterbox Level 1 and the Grade 1 exam correspond to the Pre-A1 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
