Objectives
The Eureka Phonics – Sequence 2 covers 6 commonly used sounds in English to help children recognise and produce the sounds independently. The programme provides children with elementary exposure to sounds and words using British pronunciation. The programme aims to motivate children to develop their phonemic awareness, pronunciation and spelling by developing children’s blending and segmenting skills, which they can use to build a foundation for further learning in the English language.
