Objectives
The aim of this course is to use drama to introduce students to different life skills structured around the activities that are part of young children’s development. With the use of drama we hope to build children’s confidence in using English as a medium, as well as to encourage group interaction to develop communication and social skills. By the end of this course, students will be able to perform a play with confidence and take home with them a memorable experience.
Features
This course comprises of three main elements: drama skills, teamwork and vocabulary building. Drama skills such as improvisation, miming, voice projection and articulation are taught through games and activities that require teamwork and interaction. Short songs are introduced at the end of each lesson to build students’ vocabulary and increase their interest in learning English.
